The secret: innovation based on tradition
The words “It can’t be done” never crossed the lips of company founder O.J. Müller. In 1945, he loaded the first shaving brushes on to horse-drawn vehicles and had them shipped to the New World. His son Hans-Jürgen Müller led MÜHLE-PINSEL through difficult times, attaining reprivatisation in 1990 and transforming the business into a modern industrial enterprise with the main focus on manufacturing. Under the management of Christian and Andreas Müller, 25 staff members now produce more than 1.5 million brushes per year, 30 percent of which are destined for international markets. Craftsmanship, orientation to design and modern technologies on site ensure continuous growth. Despite taking an innovative approach, the third generation remains true to its heritage: “Our customers are the focal point of our work; we continue to be driven by their satisfaction and their needs. Our products are made by people who love their work and have the courage to tread new paths. We cultivate these values – with our hearts and our minds.”
