The woods come from sustainable forestry and combine stability, elasticity, and anti-static properties – for a well-groomed beard and lasting quality.
Care instructions: Avoid prolonged contact with water and extreme temperatures. Residues can be removed occasionally with a mild shampoo. Dry the comb with a towel afterwards. A drop of olive or conditioning oil maintains the wood and gives it a natural shine.
Service tree and walnut wood are among the finest native timbers. While walnut wood stands out with its rich, dark colour and striking grain, service tree wood is characterised by a warm reddish tone and a subtle, delicate texture. Both types of wood are hard, dimensionally stable, and highly durable – ideal properties for crafting premium grooming accessories.
In the MÜHLE beard comb, walnut wood is used for the spine, while the teeth are made from service tree wood. Both are polished to an exceptionally smooth finish, ensuring a refined surface. To enhance their natural beauty and provide additional protection, the wood is treated with oil, giving it a soft, elegant sheen.
