With the EDITION Meissen Limited, MÜHLE & MEISSEN are crowning their long-standing, unique cooperation. The perfect craftsmanship and deep connection to the traditions of both manufactories are reflected in every detail of the safety razors and shaving brushes, emphasizing their luxurious character.
The shaving brush, made of the finest Meissen porcelain, attracts everyone's attention with its hand-painted, colourful Koi decor and the metallic accents of shiny titanium. With such a unique tool, the ritual of shaving is transformed into a gentle pleasure of inestimable value.
In total, only fifteen shaving brushes are made to order worldwide by the Meissen and MÜHLE manufactories. Their exclusivity is further highlighted by the hand-painted numbering, framed by the crossed Meissen swords.
The interchangeable brush head can be ordered individually in the premium qualities of Silvertip Fibre® or silvertip badger.

The decor specially designed for this limited edition, including the characteristic swords that symbolize the porcelain manufactory and frame the hand-painted numbering of each individual piece, is applied by experienced porcelain painters with the utmost precision and care using the overglaze process. Only after the so-called colour firing do the colours used, whose composition is based on a secret recipe, develop their unmistakable, intense luminosity, making the decorations from Meissen so unique worldwide.
This premium quality, durable synthetic fibre is a worldwide innovation and proof that art is capable of surpassing nature. The synthetically produced hair, which is also suitable for vegans, is very easy to maintain and dries faster than any natural material. The fibres are handmade and particularly soft at the tip. At the same time, the lower part of the brush is firmer, providing sufficient backbone for a pleasant massage effect even when wet. Additionally, Silvertip Fibre® guarantees a luxurious lather even with the smallest amounts of shaving soap or cream.
Since 2024, we have been using an eco-efficient plant-based fibre for the blend of Silvertip Fibre®, consisting of 37% renewable raw materials. Another plus point: the production of this revolutionary polymer requires 30% less energy and produces 63% fewer greenhouse gases compared to conventional synthetic fibres.
