Conformity Status
This statement was created on April 16, 2025. The assessment is based on a self-assessment according to the criteria of BITV 2.0 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Conformance Level A and AA.
The website muehle-shaving.com has a status of partially conformant: only parts of the content are conformant compared to the conformance level represented by WCAG 2.1 Level A, AA.
We provide services and information on our website in accordance with §2 of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV). We strive to make our website barrier-free accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Accessibility Strengthening Act for the implementation of the European Accessibility Act (EAA). We have reviewed our website according to the conformity criteria described below and optimized it for barrier-free use. The site structure appears clear, with logically arranged navigation elements, clearly recognizable buttons, and a well-perceivable visual hierarchy. The font sizes are sufficiently large, so that the content is generally well comprehensible even for people with impaired vision.
Our website is largely compatible with the requirements. There are only a few contents that make information retrieval or accessibility difficult for people with disabilities.
The following content is not fully accessible:
- Some ARIA attributes are used without being compatible with the respective role of the element (aria-allowed-attr, aria-prohibited-attr).
- Elements with aria-hidden are partially still focusable or contain focusable elements (aria-hidden-focus).
- Elements with ARIA roles that require certain child roles do not always contain them (aria-required-children).
- Buttons do not consistently have clearly recognizable, accessible names (button-name).
- The contrast between text or control colors and background colors does not always meet the minimum requirements according to WCAG 2 AA (color-contrast).
- Not all images and graphics have meaningful alternative texts or are correctly marked with role="none" or presentation (image-alt).
- Links are sometimes not clearly distinct from the surrounding text and differ only by color (link-in-text-block).
- Some links do not have a recognizable, accessible link text (link-name).
- Labels for all form elements are not programmatically determinable.
- Partially, the focus order is not consistent, and keyboard focus is poorly visible.
- Not all PDF documents are fully accessible.
We are constantly working to improve our website. Unfortunately, due to the abundance of material, we have not yet been able to make all content and services digitally accessible. We are committed to promptly removing all identified barriers for people with disabilities.
