Sachsen Classic makes a stop at MÜHLE Rasurkultur

Popular classic car rally of Motor Presse Stuttgart leads through Saxony

For the twentieth time, Motor Presse Stuttgart sent a rolling car museum through Saxony and the neighbouring Czech Republic. From 17 to 19 August 2023, around 180 cars were on the road on the more than 600 km long route. The start was traditionally in the August Horch city of Zwickau. The finish line was reached on 19 August on the Augustus Bridge in the heart of the old town of Dresden.

Day 2 then led across the Ore Mountains and also made a stop at MÜHLE Rasurkultur. On the factory grounds of the manufactory, the rolling museum completed a drive-through inspection. Cars from a total of nine decades were welcomed on this day in the Stützengrün district of Hundshübel. The winning team in the subsequent special stage received two exclusive shaving sets from MÜHLE EDITION Meissen

The oldest car in the starting field was a Packard Eight built in 1929. All in all, the audience could look forward to classic cars from around 40 brands, including such illustrious names as Horch, Wanderer, Alvis, Austin-Healey, Porsche and BMW. You can find a few impressions of the day in the picture gallery.
